Home decor can be expensive. Making it yourself can save you lots of money and you get exactly what you want.

Candles are a great way to decorate your home. They never got out of style. They have been hanging around since they where first made.

Sometimes you want more than just a candle. Make this paper luminary to go over a basic candle and your home will look more profisonaly decorated.

The best thing is, it is made out of paper. No expensive wood or metal. Just plain old $0.05 piece of paper.

Materials for the paper lumirary

  • Cardstock
  • Wax paper
  • glue
  • Silhouette, Cricut, or Glowforge

Step 1:

Cut out two pieces then fold the luminary at the score lines.

Step 2:

Get your wax paper ready and cut it to 4 5/16″ x 4 13/16″

Step 3:

Apply glue around the edge with the folds towards you.

Step 5:

Add the wax paper.

Step 6:

Repeat with all 4 sides.

Step 7:

Start gluing the edges together.

Step 8:

Let it dry and you have some amazing paper luminaries!
