Silhouette Cameo

This is your most popular machine and the one you’ll find in most home studios. This machine can cut and weed bigger stickers than any other silhouette machine.

The cut area is 12 inches by 24 inches. This is much bigger than you need for stickers unless you have a printer that can print larger than a normal sheet of paper.

I have linked to a Cameo 4. It is the only Cameo machine that is easy to find.

Silhouette Portrait

This is Silhouette’s second most popular machine. It is very similar to the Cameo with the biggest difference being the cut area.

A Portrait only has a cut area of 8×12.

This means to cut stickers, you are going to need to cut off 1/2″ of your paper.

If you are making stickers infrequently or don’t mind your sticker paper being slightly smaller, the Portrait is a great option.

Silhouette Curio

While this machine can cut stickers, it’s not its main feature.

This tool is designed for etching, embossing, scoring, and stippling.

It’s cut area is 8.5×6 with the standard base and 8.5×12 with if you buy the large base.

I would not plan on this machine being your main sticker cutting machine.

What Silhouette is best for Stickers?

My top pick for cutting stickers would be the Cameo.

It has the largest cut area making it easy to cut your stickers.

I personally have a Cameo and I love it!

My only complaint is the higher price of the machine. The cost is worth it though.

Can you cut vinyl stickers with a Silhouette?

Yes!

Silhouettes are known for their vinyl cutting capabilities.

It is very easy to cut, weed, and transfer vinyl to your item of choice.

How accurately can a Silhouette cut Stickers?

A silhouette can be very accurate in its cutting.

Sometimes, if you are cutting very close to the edge of a design, you can have issues.

The most my machine has been off is by about a millimeter. So not bad!

I’ve bought stickers and the accuracy of my Silhouette machine goes way beyond the accuracy of some of the store-bought ones.

What is the best printer for printing stickers?

I really love my Pixma printers from Canon.

I have had 2 and both produce beautiful prints.

I have had very few issues with them.
